Welcome to The Saw Dust Shop. We got our start about 25 years ago, working out of a small shed in Cudahy, Wisconsin — building whirligigs and smaller items to sell at local craft fairs. What began as a hobby has grown over time into something we truly enjoy doing for others.
Over the years, the projects got bigger and the shop grew with them. Today we build swings, patio sets, benches, garden boxes, custom mailboxes, and much more — all by hand, right here in Caledonia, WI. Every piece is built with thicker, higher-quality lumber than what you'll find at a retail store, and finished with protective stains to hold up through Wisconsin's seasons.
We don't mass produce — every project gets individual attention from start to finish. Whether it's a matching patio furniture set, a yard swing with a custom cutout, or a one-of-a-kind build you dreamed up yourself, we work with you to make it happen. Custom sizing, stain colors, carved details — just tell us what you're thinking.
